Now, another cool song. This I would actually call a perfect pop song. The most bizarre thing is that I discovered this song watching the Cinema Snob, also known as Brad Jones (not to be confused with the power popster of the same name) who reviews slasher and exploitation film curiosities of the 70s.
This amazing song Believe It Or Not was originally the theme song of Greatest American Hero, a superhero drama-comedy TV series that aired in the early 80s. I haven't had a chance to see this series for a couple of reasons but I enjoy singer Joey Scarbury's voice so much that I actually might end up searching for more of his music - even though the label "adult contemporary" may not be the most interesting attribute I can think of... In any case, if the music is as heartfelt and catchy as this I don't care what the genre is called.
Check out the TV version below or the full song with better sound quality (also from YouTube - there is a Seinfeld version of the song at the end of the video).

Hobbit Fun
It is time for an update after another quite long break. Sorry again for not posting anything but I've been busier with school than ever...
I had a Lord of the Rings board game evening with my friends a few weeks ago and this song became a small hit then. I had actually never thought that Leonard Nimoy would sing but here he is, singing a cool little bubblegum/sunshine pop/novelty song about Bilbo Baggins. Despite not being perfect I think it is a really catchy song.
